At Adlai Dyson | Fused Frame Photography, I am committed to making my website and digital services accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. I believe the internet should be easy to navigate and view for all users.

How I Support Accessibility

As an individual photographer and developer, I have taken proactive steps to ensure my website is as welcoming and accessible as possible. My ongoing efforts include:

  • Colour Contrast: Ensuring text and background colours have sufficient contrast so content is easy to read.

  • Alternative Text (Alt Text): Providing descriptive alt text for images, galleries, and non-decorative visual media so screen readers can interpret the content.

  • Clear Navigation: Maintaining a simple, logical, and consistent navigation structure across the site.

  • Keyboard Accessibility: Ensuring that interactive elements (like store checkouts and contact forms) can be navigated using a keyboard where supported by my website builder (Wix).

  • Readable Typography: Using legible fonts and appropriate text sizing.

Limitations and Third-Party Platforms

While I strive to ensure my custom code and content are accessible, my website relies on third-party platforms (such as Wix and embedded YouTube players). There may be some elements or older pages that do not yet fully conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards. I am continuously learning about web accessibility and looking for ways to improve the site.
